I love the white watch trend. They are casual and sporty yet chic and eye catching. With the gift of bronzed skin that summer brings they look so refreshing on. I have seen so many great options in every price range for every budget. Take your pick…

WISHFUL THINKING
I have a new found love. And it’s a mix of adorable, girly fun, and glam. And what girl doesn’t need a little of each of those things in her life? I wish I could put it on my summer must have list but chances of me having one are .. umm slim to none. A girl can dream though. I am a huge fan of small business. Being a small business owner myself and coming from a family of small business owners this love comes naturally to me. So with that being said I am totally obsessed with Frieda and Nellie!
I have seen their bracelets all over the place for the past 6 weeks. And I loved them instantly. But when I read their story my love for them grew into serious relationship, committed, in it for the long haul kind of love. Frieda and Nellie are Stacy and Sarah’s grandmother’s name. Stacy and Sarah are best friends. Me and my BFF have been racking our brains for the past 5 years trying to figure out what little business we could start to make our millions. So the fact that Stacy and Sarah figured out theirs made me love ‘em all the more. I like to get really excited for people who find success in their own creativity and natural born cuteness. Stacy and Sarah game up with the idea after traveling through the Galapagos in 2009 and are now sharing them with the rest of us glam girls across the US. What could make a girl feel more special than a glamorous handmade ONE OF A KIND bracelet made with a mix of new and vintage pieces?!
Check out their sight, www.FriedaandNellie.com and see if you don’t fall in love with their story and their products.

Who’d A Thunk It?!
Clogs : Yup, they’re in! Clogs were seen all over the Spring runways from Miu Miu, Chanel to Marc Jacobs. I was so dumbfounded by this trend… I didn’t understand it. Clogs in the Spring time? I always thought of them as a shoe you wear with a heavy sock and jeans in the dead of winter. Not anymore. And I have finally decided to blog about them because these klunkidy little shoes have started to grow on me. Wear them with flirty florals or put ‘em on with your comfy cargos. They’re comfortable and easy to run around in!

Date Night Magazine!
I recently did a fun photoshoot with Ben Vigil (who is an incredible wedding photogapher) for Date Night Magazine which is based out of Atlanta, Georgia. The shoot took place at the new Loews Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Jaime Luckey, who is the editor for Date Night Mag interviewed me and we all had a blast! The interview is a lot different from the ones I’ve done in the past so if you’re interested check it out…

Strappy MUST HAVE Flats
Your MUST HAVE shoe for Spring and Summer: a strappy little sandal. It pretty much is the perfect shoe for warm weather when you’re not wanting to strut around in your heels or wedges.
I have been so excited to see such great variations of this little shoe everywhere I go. If you can’t find a pair you like then you probably just don’t like shoes because this year they have made so many colors and styles in the flat strappy sandal you’d have to be Santa Claus to not be excited about summer!
They are great with just about every outfit… skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, cargo pants, shorts, skirts, maxi dresses, and everything else!
I love all the colorful options but for me (and my short legs) I’ll be sticking to flesh colored, metallics or reptile skins.

you’ll find me in…
I recently had a good friend ask me where I get all my great t-shirts. This has become my everyday go to look when I’m not dressing to impress or working with a client. I love wearing a loose v-neck or scoop neck tee with skinny or boyfriend jeans or now that it’s getting warmer some little cut off shorts with the gobs of jewelry I tend to throw on. So here are my two favorite t’s which I have in just about every color….

STEAL!
So the super cute wrap bracelets above are made by Chan Luu and are all the buzz right now. They run for about $200 a piece give or take a few… and being the total jewelry/accessories junkie that I am I can often time convince myself to splurge on pieces that I fall in love with. BUT, I couldn’t bring myself to spend the cash it would take to buy myself a fabulous Chan Luu bracelet… and I think the good Lord was rewarding me for my self control because this past week I was in Forever 21 and happened upon a Chan Luu knock off… for $6.80! I’m not kidding it looks like the real deal! In fact I had it on last night at a charity event for the Florida Hospital and had a lady say, “love your bracelet, is that Chan Luu?” Ha! Nope.. I still have $193.20 to go!

WHITE!
Finally! Easter has finally come and now we can wear as much white as we want and not be given any grief about it! This is probably my least favorite rule out of all the rules and I think it’s so silly and honestly I don’t follow it to well. I think it should be no white in textures like linen, eyelet, or other really summery fabrics but no white in general is a rule I think that no one should follow! And in fact, most fashion textbooks will tell you the same thing. So I choose to rock white year round. But anywhoooo here’s a couple cute white dresses I thought were kinda great….
The first one is a super easy casual every day dress that you can wear while running around town in flip flops or make it more evening appropriate for a nice outside summer dinner with wedges and some fun jewelry. Almost all body types can sport this loose fitting t shirt style dress… it’d look great with a tan too!
The second dress is a bit pricier but it’s definitely a “special” dress. This dress is going to look best on you skinny gals with straight frames or those who have rockin legs but your problem area is in the tummy. Just makes sure there isn’t too much fabric swallowing you up!

OUT WITH THE OLD – IN WITH THE NEW!
Everyone knows about that age old tradition of “Spring Cleaning.” It’s so easy for your house to become a cluttered mess over the holidays with all the gifts and decorations that flow through out. Thick chunky sweaters, pea coats, and tall boots take up all the space in your closet and by the time the warm weather comes around you either can’t see your pretty spring things or you can’t even manage to fit them in your closet!
I always tell my clients, “if you can’t see it – you won’t wear it!” If you want to make good use of your closet space and your clothes then pulling out that stuff you don’t wear anymore is so important. Move your winter items to another closet or store them in your big suitcases that you rarely use.
Replace items that need replacing. Clean out your sock and underwear drawer and then go treat yourself to some new undies. It’s little things like this that can help to make you feel more organized and refreshed!
My favorite go to undies? For thongs I always choose Hanky Panky’s low rise lace thong. It’s super comfy and won’t ride up! My favorite GP’s are Calvin Klein’s signature logo bikini.
Here’s a list of items that are always good to freshin’ up on if you haven’t done so in a while and that often times get neglected:
socks
bras
panties
your favorite nail polish
tennis shoes
your medicine cabinet
